Trips and Tours: Guggenheim Museum, New York City

One-Day Bus Trip
Tuesday, November 10, 2009

This is the first full-scale retrospective of Kandinsky's career in the US since 1985.
Nearly 100 paintings will be brought together from three partner institutions which have the greatest concentration of the artist's work in the world: the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, NYC, Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, and Stadtische Galerie im Lenbachhaus, Munish, as well as from significant loans from private and public holdings.

We will board a bus early in the morning, enjoy coffee and muffins along the way, arrive at the Museum in time for a
delicious catered lunch, followed by a private tour of the exhibit. There will be plenty of time to explore the building and other exhibits. We will return to Concord in the evening.

Cost:
$225 per person (member)
$250 per person (non-member)

Price includes transportation, museum admission, guided tour, catered lunch and gratuities.
