This year
the Art Association is having Paint the
Town! on Saturday, May 18.
It may be
bleak outside, but plans are underway for out fourth Annual Paint
the Town! Artists set up their easels at a location
in Concord, and paint during the day. (Some artists will choose
to do their painting or other medium in advance.) All the work
is brought into the Art Association by 3:30 in the afternoon in
preparation for the evenings auction. This is our most significant
fund raising event of the year and our goal is $17,
000. We are adding:
- a program
booklet with advertising from merchants and other supporters,
and a listing of all the participating Live and Silent Auction
artists
- A few
additional auction items other than paintings (We welcome your
ideas or anything you might like to contribute.)
- A slightly
higher entry fee of $35 per sprson and $50 per couple. Remember
those delicious hor d'oervres!
- Private
dinner parties following the Auction to continue the fun and
socialize, bringing new people to the auction.
- The highlights
of the day will remain the same, our delicious artists breakfast,
box lunches for the artists, at 5:00 pm a reception and bidding
on the Silent Auction and at 6:00 pm the Live Auction.

may call the office to reserve a space.
