Our philosophy is that art is a life-long pursuit and our mission is to provide an atmosphere that is inspiring and inclusive at every stage of an artist’s career, whether as an avocation or professional endeavor. However, our membership comprises artists and non-artists alike and we welcome everyone at any age, artistic level or interest in the arts.

Competitions/Exhibitions
As a member, you are eligible to submit work to MEMBERS JURIED I: Painting and Sculpture in January; MEMBERS JURIED II: Photography, Drawing, Mixed Media, Crafts and Graphics in February; HOLIDAY ORIGINALS in December as well as our open competition, FRANCES N. RODDY COMPETITION in September. As a member you will receive a prospectus in the mail as well as an email reminder about the delivery dates for work. Several weeks before each event, we will also post the prospectus on the home page of our website as well as under "Exhibitions-Overview and Prospectuses." How to Join
Joining the Concord Art Association doesn't require an initial jury acceptance as each and every artist is welcome, and we believe that our Member Juried Shows provide opportunities for exposure and peer review.

    Annual membership expires one year from the month of joining.
