Developing Personal Imagery with Monoprinting

We will start with the basic techniques of monoprinting: mixing inks, hand wiping, rolling, overprinting, using multiple plates and colors and then move on to experiment with some new techniques!  Monoprints are variations within a series of one image that can be printed multiple times in a variety of ways.   Thus, the monoprint is the perfect way to develop and explore personal imagery, unfolding many unique iterations into a related series of prints.
