Plein air painting in historic Concord, MA!
Capture the beauty of Spring in Concord while painting outdoors with master plein air painter, Caleb Stone. Colorful specimen trees, Walden Pond and the surrounding woodlands, sweeping marshes, peaceful riverside scenes, Sleepy Hollow, and the charming downtown area offer many wonderful locations to paint. Caleb will guide you on how to choose your own springtime palette and how to develop a composition with effective values and a strong design with contrast and color harmony. Each class will begin with a demonstration, leaving plenty of time for painting and individual instruction. A constructive group critique will be offered at the beginning of each class. Students will meet at Concord Art at 10am for a one-hour critique and will move on to location for the remainder of the class.
In the case of inclement weather, Caleb will offer an on-site meeting (in the building of Concord Art) or Zoom alternative.
