Postcard Landscapes

In this workshop, we’ll work in watercolor, gouache, or acrylic to make simple, stylized landscape postcards. Working small is an excellent way to try out different approaches to rendering place. We’ll also make stencils to experiment with flat color in our images and exaggerate shapes. At the end of the workshop, we’ll have good ideas about how to create evocative images with simple elements and have some painted postcards to send here and there!
