MARK COOPER is an internationally recognized artist known for large-scale and site-specific installations and public commissions. . His commissions and grants vary from Boston Children’s Hospital, Boston Medical Center, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a Gund Grant, Daynard Grant, and an Open Society Fellowship among others. In July 2020, he completed three permanent large-scale marble sculptures for the DaNang Museum of Fine Art, Vietnam. In 2006 he authored Making Art Together through Beacon Press and is Professor of the Practice/Director of Undergraduate Studies in Studio Art at Boston College.
