Concord Art is an integral part of the cultural community, and our members make what we do possible. Join today and become part of a vibrant creative community where our mission is to support visual art and artists.
As a Concord Art member, you will receive:
- Member discounts on all classes and workshops with our prestigious faculty, offering classes in a variety of media for seasoned artists, beginners, and everyone in between.
- Opportunities to show your artwork—and win prizes—in three juried shows each year:
- Members Juried 1: Painting + Sculpture, on view in January and February
- Members Juried 2: Collage, Crafts, Drawing, Graphics, Mixed Media, Photography, Printmaking, on view in February and March
- Annual Roddy Competition, on view in September and October (Members enjoy a discounted submission fee, as the Roddy is open to members and non-members.)
- Opportunity to have an exhibition in our Members Gallery (submissions due in May).
- Opportunity to have your artwork selected for the annual Concord Art Calendar (submissions due in August).
- Opportunity to sell your artwork in the annual Holiday Sale (submissions due in November).
- Invitations to attend special events, art-making trips, collection tours, and museum/exhibition tours.
- Free admission to Artist Demos, every other Wednesday from September through May.
We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health’s WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of organizations by making cultural programming accessible to those for whom cost is a participation barrier. All Card to Culture patrons are eligible for a free Artist Membership, which includes free attendance to Artist Demos. Plus, registration fees are waived for cardholders to enter artwork into juried exhibition competitions.
