Rent Our Spaces

The galleries and gardens of Concord Center for the Visual Arts offer a unique opportunity for your event—a venue that blends historic charm with the vitality of today’s art. We host birthday gatherings, staff retreats, weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, lectures and much more. Centrally located in historic Concord, Massachusetts, with ease of access, diverse spaces, a fully equipped kitchen and audio-visual capabilities, Concord Art is an easy choice as a place for you to host your event.

Capacity

Renting the entire building includes the Roberts Gallery as well the two first-floor galleries, French and Abbott, each measuring 21 x 20 feet with original paneling and fireplaces.
The building can accommodate 65 people for a buffet, 80 for a sit down dinner and 100 for a reception. We only rent the building during closed hours. )

Renting by room/floor is $200/hr with a minimum of two hours. Renting the entire building is a $2000 flat fee, which includes up to two hours of setup and up to two hours of cleanup.

Roberts Gallery (2nd Floor)

The Roberts Gallery is spacious and architecturally significant. It is 30 x 40 feet and on the second floor, with a turn of the century ceiling skylight, hardwood floors and art on the walls. It is equipped with built-in speakers, screen and presentation system. There is a lift for handicap accessibility.  

Fee: $200/hour for the Roberts Gallery (main gallery, upstairs) with two hour minimum

Abbott and French Galleries (First Floor)

The Abbott and French Galleries are on the first floor flanking the center entrance to the building. They are 21 x 20 feet each. They are perfect for cocktails and a stationary bar.

Fee: $200/hour for downstairs galleries with two hour minimum

Loring Coleman Studio (First Floor)

The Loring Coleman Room is used as a classroom and art studio. It is 24 x 24 feet and overlooks our bluestone patio, sculptures, lush plantings and trees, an ancient stone wall and a lovely waterfall. It is good for a small party, class or conference. Capacity: 40 people.

Fee: $200/hour for downstairs galleries with two hour minimum

Important Guidelines

  • Event setup can only begin after 4:30pm. Galleries are open to the public from 10am – 4:30pm.
  • Renter/caterer is responsible for all setup and cleanup, including trash and recycling removal from premises.
  • Concord Art staff member will be present at all times during event to answer questions and provide security.
  • Please no smoking on the premises
  • Music is not permitted in the garden area after 10PM, nor indoors after 11PM due to the residential nature of the neighborhood.
  • No open flames including birthday candles and sterno.
  • Please clean up any glitter, throwing rice, confetti, etc.
  • Concord Art must approve layout of event at least one week prior to the event.
