Cyrus Whittier

Upon graduation from the Art Institute of Boston, Cyrus Whittier began working as a freelance illustrator/graphic designer for numerous advertising agencies and publishing houses in the Boston area. In 1985, he returned to art school in pursuit of his passion for charcoal and pastel drawing and specialized in figure drawing and portraiture. Inspired by the birth of his son in December of 1989, he began to offer privately commissioned portraits and has subsequently expanded his repertoire to include portrait commissions of adults and pets. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Cyrus Whittier is an invaluable member of the Concord Art community.
