Kristina Goransson

Kristina Goransson is an artist, teacher, and curator living in the Boston area. Her background includes a BFA from Rhode Island School of design in Furniture and an MFA from UMass Dartmouth in Fibers(Artisanry). She has had the privilege of being invited to various artist residencies including Oregon College of Arts and Crafts, Paducah Arts Alliance, and Pentaculum at Arrowmont. She has taught a variety of textiles classes at institutions such as Mass Art, UMass Dartmouth, and many art centers around Boston. Kristina has exhibited nationally and internationally with her felted wool installations. She maintains a studio practice while raising kids, teaching, and curating.
