Richard Denzer

Richard Denzer has been painting in watercolor for more than 45 years. While primarily self-taught, he has taken watercolor workshops at the MFA, Boston and with painters William Ternes (MA), Robert J. O’Brien (VT), and Bradley Hendershot (PA/ME). In the early 1990s, he started Curb Appeal Portraits, producing watercolor house portraits for local realtors and homeowners. For the past 12 years or so, he has been teaching watercolor painting for the Dover Community Education Department as well as the Hopkinton Center for the Arts. While he is often attracted to architectural subjects, he also paints landscapes, pet and people portraits.
