Our Concord Art Teachers
Ron Krouk is an artist and teacher working in 2-Dimensional mediums. He received his B.A. in Psychology and Art from Brandeis University and his M.F.A. from Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts. He was a resident at the Skowhegan School for Painting and Drawing. Ron has been teaching at Concord Art for many years and is known for his generous, knowledgeable teaching. Ron is an excellent instructor for all levels, particularly for beginners looking to build their tool kit and eye for painting and drawing. Ron’s philosophy of learning how to “see” for painting and drawing encourages students to learn their own unique method of translating images from eye to paper.
Ron’s own statement says, “I have been fascinated by looking at drawings and paintings from my teenage years. Since I started drawing myself I have been intrigued by the mystery of representing the three-dimensional world in two dimensions. And since I started painting I have been seduced by the wonder of the process of seeing itself. “
