Virginia Cramer

Cramer works in mixed media, paint, and pastels. Her inspiration comes from many sources: her inner world, memories, personal history, and her love of the natural world. She experiments with different styles, techniques and materials exploring art as a language and means of expressing ideas that have personal meaning, or that she finds interesting or beautiful. Her work moves between realism and abstraction.

She has studied at the Massachusetts College of Art, Boston’s MFA Museum School, The de Cordova Museum, The Danforth Museum, Montserrat College of Art, and the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She continues to take classes and workshops in various settings. A member of the Cambridge Artists Association, Concord Artists Association, and the Arts League of Lowell, she exhibits in the Greater Boston area.
