Jane Henry Parsons

Oil + cold wax painter Jane Henry Parsons began her career in graphic design and received her BFA from UMass Dartmouth. Since 2000, she has transitioned into oil painting and has studied at the DeCordova, Danforth Museum School, Medicine Wheel Studios, and Mass Continuing Ed. She has been on two painting retreats in San Gimignano, Italy which provided much inspiration for her landscapes. Over the past several years, she has been working with the addition of cold wax medium into oils. This has allowed much experimentation and lead to “Dreamscapes” and her Nature inspired Wildflower series.
