Join us on Wednesday, May 13th for an Artist Demo with Chris Robinson, who will share her various methods of creating a finished print. She will demonstrate ways of printing without a press that can add spontaneity and direct ways of getting an image onto plates. She will also discuss what comes after printing, how reworking and collaging “bad” prints or drawings can become essential parts of a new image.

Chris Robinson attended Museum School and received a certificate in Printmaking from Montserrat College of Art. She apprenticed with Paul Maguire at Flat Rock Press. Chris has taught at Montserrat, The Governor’s Academy, and after school programs. She is a member of Four Sparrows, a printmaking collaborative, and various art associations on the North Shore. Her work is also shown at New England Sketchbook.
